Procedure for Newly Admitted Students


Upon admission, newly admitted students are to follow the under-listed steps to complete their registration. 

ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT PROCESS 
  • 1. Visit www.yabatech.edu.ng 
  • 2. Click on Acceptance Fee Payment 
  • 3. Enter JAMB Number/ Application number as username and phone number as password 
  • 4. Confirm details are correct 
  • 5. Click on “Click to pay acceptance fee” 
  • 6. Click on Pay Now 
  • 7. Select to make payment either via bank or card 
  • 8. If bank is selected above, print the remita invoice and proceed to any bank for payment 
  • 9. If card is selected, enter card details and confirm payment. 
  • 10. Upon successful payment (either via bank or atm card), repeat step 1 to 3 
  • 11. Complete the form by filling in the correct details as required 
  • 12. Click on print acceptance form to see your biodata information and link for biometric enrollment 
  • 13. On concluding the biometric enrollment you will be redirected to the biodata (e-acceptance) slip. Kindly print this page. It's part of the required documents for e-screening 
  • 14. Login to the e-screening portal and read the instructions carefully. 
  • 15. Upload your credentials and keep Checking until you are cleared or in cleared with reasons. If uncleared see the instructions and reload your documents according 
  • 16. Proceed to the admission unit to sign your e screening slip and you will be made eligibility to pay school fee after full screening. 
  • 17. Login to applicant portal (click here) to pay your school fee, print admission letter and generate your matriculation number. Also, note that you are to upload a passport suitable for your ID card. It must have a plain background and dimensions.

Reasons Why An Admitted Candidates Will Not Be Cleared In Yaba Tech Screening

  • Inconsistent date of birth i.e. day, month and year.
  • Incomplete/ Inadequate course requirements
  • Variance between submitted entry requirements and verified results
  • Variance in arrangement/ spelling of names.

  • Incomplete documents
  • Incomplete period for Industrial Attachment (HND Only)

Yabatech E-screening document required for National Diploma (ND) part time students



Yabatech started online e-screening exercise 2017/2018 academic session that processes all uploaded document of admitted students to the school website for non-appearance screening. Where the candidate will be clear without taking their screening documents physically to screening officers.

In this article, we will be discussing on the Yabatech screening documents to be submitted for all level after admission and the payment of Acceptance Fee. 

However, After the admission list has been released, all admitted candidate has to pay an acceptance fee and they have to proceed to the Yabatech online screening portal for their Yabatech E-Screening.

We have received lots of complaint from students saying when they check admission checker on Yabatech website, it is showing "you haven't paid for verification pls do so now" and which they have paid for it.

Please note that Yabatech CITM is aware of this experience in checking ur admission status on Yabatech site irrespective of whether you're admitted or not. Kindly exercise patience as this will be sorted out soon.


If you have paid for the o'level verification, please kindly ignore it. If you are yet to pay for it, kindly be advised to pay for it as soon as possible.

O'level Result Verification Now In Progress


Payment for O'Level Result Verification now in progress for 2018/19 Candidates. All candidates that registered for the 2018 Post UTME, ND Part-Time, HND Part Time & HND Full Time are expected to proceed with this payment of N1,500 Only.

Candidates that are yet to register for the 2018/19 ND Part-Time, HND Part Time & HND Full Time will be made to pay it before completing their e-Registration.

Before you can be considered for admission, your O'Level result has to be verified.

YabaTech POSTUTME SCREENING Form For 2018/2019


Applications are hereby invited from interested 2018 UTME candidates who applied for admission into Yaba College of Technology for, National Diploma (ND), Ful Time and B.Sc. (Edu) in Technical Education programmes (100 level) being run in affiliation.

ELIGIBILITY

The admission screening is open to candidates who chose Yaba College of Technology as their 1st or 2nd choice Choice of institution and scored 150 and above for National Diploma (ND) Full Time and 180 for B.Sc. Degree (100 level) in affiliation with University of Nsukka in the 2018/2019 Unified Tertiary Matriculation Examination (UTME). However all candidates who have choose Yabatech as 2nd Choice of Institution are required to change to First Choice on the Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) Portal to be eligible for admission. All candidates must no be less than 16 years old by October, 2018. Application will commence from Wednesday, August 8, 2018.

METHOD OF APPLICATION

Applicants are to pay a fee of Two Thousand Naira (N2,000:00) (excluding result verification fee) for the exercise using their ATM Card (Master Card, Visa, Verve) by clicking on PAY NOW. The application process can also be run on mobile devices (Smart Phones, IPAD, TABLETS and Other Internet enabled devices). The candidates are expected to upload their photograph in JPEG or PNG format and not more than 120 x 120 pixel.

Candidates should visit the College website at www.yabatech.edu.ng click on POST UTME SCREENING 2018/2019 and complete the application process appropriately. 

INSTRUCTION TO CANDIDATES

Candidates are advised to supply correct data on the portal as they will be responsible for any error made during registration and any wrong information given on Joint Admissions and Matriculation Board (JAMB) and O'Level details will disqualify the candidate.

Inconsistency in name or picture on photo will not be accepted by the College and may lead to disqualification of concerned candidates. Candidates names on their O'Level Certificates, UTME results and other registration documents must be the same.

Note: These requirements may change from time to time.
For those who are combining two results, you can combine Waec and NECOWaec and GceNeco and Gce, But you cannot combine Waec and Nabteb  or Neco and Nabteb together.
There are some people who use fake O’level results to gain admission to Yabatech. By the time the school confirms that an individuals result is fake, he/she might already be in the next level. 
The school will withdraw such individuals admission, meanwhile, such person would have already paid school fee. So in order not to fall a victim, do not use a fake result.
