Procedure for Newly Admitted Students


Upon admission, newly admitted students are to follow the under-listed steps to complete their registration. 

ACCEPTANCE FEE PAYMENT PROCESS 
  • 1. Visit www.yabatech.edu.ng 
  • 2. Click on Acceptance Fee Payment 
  • 3. Enter JAMB Number/ Application number as username and phone number as password 
  • 4. Confirm details are correct 
  • 5. Click on “Click to pay acceptance fee” 
  • 6. Click on Pay Now 
  • 7. Select to make payment either via bank or card 
  • 8. If bank is selected above, print the remita invoice and proceed to any bank for payment 
  • 9. If card is selected, enter card details and confirm payment. 
  • 10. Upon successful payment (either via bank or atm card), repeat step 1 to 3 
  • 11. Complete the form by filling in the correct details as required 
  • 12. Click on print acceptance form to see your biodata information and link for biometric enrollment 
  • 13. On concluding the biometric enrollment you will be redirected to the biodata (e-acceptance) slip. Kindly print this page. It's part of the required documents for e-screening 
  • 14. Login to the e-screening portal and read the instructions carefully. 
  • 15. Upload your credentials and keep Checking until you are cleared or in cleared with reasons. If uncleared see the instructions and reload your documents according 
  • 16. Proceed to the admission unit to sign your e screening slip and you will be made eligibility to pay school fee after full screening. 
  • 17. Login to applicant portal (click here) to pay your school fee, print admission letter and generate your matriculation number. Also, note that you are to upload a passport suitable for your ID card. It must have a plain background and dimensions.

Reasons Why An Admitted Candidates Will Not Be Cleared In Yaba Tech Screening


The management of the Yaba College of Technology (YABATECH) has released the reasons why an admitted candidate may not be cleared during screening process.
  • Inconsistent date of birth i.e. day, month and year.
  • Incomplete/ Inadequate course requirements
  • Variance between submitted entry requirements and verified results
  • Variance in arrangement/ spelling of names.
  • Impersonation
  • JAMB subject combination
  • Incomplete documents
  • Incomplete period for Industrial Attachment (HND Only)
  • Unaccredited institutions (HND Only)

Yabatech E-screening document required for Higher National Diploma (HND) full-time and part-time students



Yabatech started online e-screening exercise 2017/2018 academic session that processes all uploaded document of admitted students to the school website for non-appearance screening. Where the candidate will be clear without taking their screening documents physically to screening officers.

In this article, we will be discussing on the Yabatech screening documents to be submitted for all level after admission and the payment of Acceptance Fee. 

However, After the admission list has been released, all admitted candidate has to pay an acceptance fee and they have to proceed to the Yabatech online screening portal for their Yabatech E-Screening.

Note: candidates that have successfully uploaded their Yabatech HND full-time and part-time screening documents must keep checking the school screening portal in other to print clearance slip.

Nevertheless. in this post, you will get to know the list of Yabatech HND full-time and part-time Screening documents to be uploaded online for the screening exercise.

Before this e – screening exercise is achievable, all candidate must be sure if their O level Results have been verified on the Yabatech result verification portal before the Screening documents can be uploaded successfully.


YABATECH E-screening Requirements for Higher National Diploma (HND) Full-time and Part-Time

1. Data Form Print Out.

2. Report of online verification ‘O’ Level Results (SSCE/NABTEB/NECO).

3. Testimonial from Secondary School.

4. ND (National Diploma) Result.

5. Evidence of Payment of Transcript.

6. IT Letter.

7. Acceptance History Print Out (Remita Receipt).

8. Two (2) Reference Letters signed with stamp / seal from any two of:
(a) Imam / Pastor
(b) Senior Civil Servant not below Grade Level 12
(c) Lawyer
(d) Principal of your former Secondary School.

9. Birth Certificate from National Population Commission, Local Government and Hospital.

10. JAMB National Diploma (ND) Admission Letter. Candidates who graduated on Part-Time programmes are to process Late Registration formally known as Regularization of Admission on JAMB Website and bring the receipt of the payment as evidence for screening.

All the documents are to be scanned and uploaded at portal.yabatech.edu.ng/escreening. The documents will be reviewed by the school, if the documents are approved, you can proceed to the college hall for clearance.

Payment for O'Level Result Verification now in progress for 2018/19 Candidates. All candidates that registered for the 2018 Post UTME, ND Part-Time, HND Part Time & HND Full Time are expected to proceed with this payment of N1,500 Only.

Candidates that are yet to register for the 2018/19 ND Part-Time, HND Part Time & HND Full Time will be made to pay it before completing their e-Registration.

Note: These requirements are subject to change. We will update the table when the school updates any info.
As I stated in the OND requirement post, you can combine Waec and Neco, Waec and Gce, Neco and Gce but you cannot combine Nabteb and Waec or Nabteb and Neco, it is not accepted in Yabatech. Do not use fake results because no matter how you do it, the school has a way of finding out.

Anybody that uses a fake result would be given admission subject to when the school verifies all your documents. Once the school verifies the documents, candidates who used fake would be expelled, this would be done after school fees have already been paid. For you not to waste your money, please do not use fake results.

  9. Transcript receipt (Evidence to show that you have applied for transcript)
  10. Two reference letters from Pastor/Imam and any of the following; secondary school principal, senior civil servant, Lawyer.
  11. Birth certificate from National population commission, local government office or general hospital.
All the documents are to be scanned and uploaded at portal.yabatech.edu.ng/escreening. The documents will be reviewed by the school, if the documents are approved, you can proceed to college hall for clearance.
